2,673 Residential Units Across 7 New Projects in Abu Dhabi

The DARI digital property services platform, affiliated with the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, has introduced 7 new projects in various areas across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. These projects will contribute to the provision of 2,673 residential units for buildings and villa construction.

The DARI platform, launched by the Department of Municipalities and Transport in collaboration with the property services development company ADRES last February, revealed that the number of projects listed on the platform has reached 190. These projects include residential buildings, villas, and land, and vary between completed, ready, and under-construction projects.

The platform highlighted 7 new projects, including: the Murzab Complex in Al Samha by the developer Murzab Complex, which includes 739 new residential units; Saadiyat Lagoons Phase 2 – Al Sidr on Saadiyat Island by Aldar Properties, providing 619 new residential units; and the Al Reem 2 project in Al Shamkha, which contributes 557 new residential units.

According to the platform, the Sakan Bay project on Yas Island by the developer Baraka will provide 232 residential units. The Reem Nine project on Reem Island by the developer SAS will contribute 206 new residential units. Additionally, the Saadiyat Lagoons Phase 2 – Ather project will include 173 residential units, while the Saadiyat Lagoons – Wilds Phase 2 project will offer 147 residential units.

The Department explained that the goal of the DARI platform is to integrate real estate services in Abu Dhabi into a unified platform, providing comprehensive, advanced, and integrated real estate services. It offers users a flexible and seamless experience in managing their various real estate transactions, enhancing the attractiveness of real estate investment, and ensuring transparency in providing data to investors, which contributes to improving the quality of real estate services in Abu Dhabi.

It added that users can access the DARI platform via the website: www.DARI.ae or the mobile app, where they can explore the available services and numerous features offered by the platform. These include property sales and rentals, documentation, issuing certificates, a directory of registered real estate projects, a guide for licensed professionals in the real estate market, market indicators such as transaction values, mortgages, off-plan sales, communication with real estate brokers, and information on future investment opportunities in the Abu Dhabi real estate market. The platform also provides access to a list of transactions related to buying, selling, and mortgages.

4.6 Billion Dirhams in Real Estate Transactions in Abu Dhabi for January

In January 2023, Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector recorded a total of 1,199 transactions, including sales and mortgages, with a combined value of 4.61 billion dirhams. According to the real estate transaction indicators from the DARI platform, which is managed by the Department of Municipalities and Transport, there were 487 property sales transactions amounting to 1.74 billion dirhams. Of these, seven transactions totaling 7.5 million dirhams occurred last week. Additionally, the total number of mortgage transactions reached 712, valued at 2.87 billion dirhams.

The DARI digital platform, launched by the Department of Municipalities and Transport in collaboration with the Advanced Real Estate Services Company (ADRES), has seen an increase in the number of projects listed. The platform now features 189 real estate projects, including 79 residential buildings, 44 land plots, 52 villas, and 14 mixed-use properties.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport anticipates further growth, driven by the introduction of new projects that are planned and executed to world-class standards. These developments are expected to create well-integrated communities with high-quality infrastructure, enhancing the overall quality of life in Abu Dhabi.

THINKPROP Real Estate Training Institute set to host ‘Basics of Housing Construction’ workshop

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The THINKPROP Real Estate Training Institute, launched by Advanced Real Estate Services (ADRES), is set to host an online workshop on the ‘Basics of Housing Construction’. People looking for free guidance on building their own home are invited to attend the workshop, which will cover the important steps of home construction, from planning to execution.

The initiative comes in line with the Institute’s mission of spreading real estate knowledge and providing training courses on the real estate sector for individuals and companies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to expand and develop the Emirate’s real estate sector.

Set to take place on 15 June, the workshop will be conducted by Eng. Abdulkareem Al Hosani Businessman in real estate development, an expert in the field of construction who brings more than 21 years of experience in the industry.

‘Basics of Housing Construction’ workshop aims to raise the public’s awareness about the importance of building their own home correctly, following the right steps. The workshop will offer attendees a step-by-step guidance on the required documents for home construction, the methods for selecting the best partner construction enterprise, the process of designing a house, the most important clauses of home contract agreement, followed by the stages of implementation.
